does not work after #40

After merging #40 it doesn't work on x86_64 now. It seems like it didn't have any effect.

@etam: Which Git revision did you use for the strace?

I probably have used 2.2.1 with manually imported patches from git. I have tested release 2.2.2 and it works correctly.
