Improvements. #117

Description

@domino-place

My next desired enhancements:

  • To be able to temporarily zoom in/out the text of a note to adjust its relative dimension on the screen while writing or reading it
  • To be able to increase/reduce the height of the text: (in the corresponding HTLM, I mean tags like big, smaller, extra small and so on...)
  • To be able to export a note in html/txt/Rich-Text format, also selecting some/all notes and doing a bulk exporting to a single/multiple file
  • To be able to choose the rgb color in which the background of a note is shown; otherwise, to be able to create tags assignable to the notes (e g. "Important", "to do", "work"...) and assign a color to every tag: this way, the background of the note is setup separately, as the background-color of the html/css of the note, while headers of the notes are slightly coloured with the color of the tag(s) assigned to the notes themselves
  • To be able to filter the notes on the home of ImapNotes by tag(s)
  • To be able to leave the "password" field of an account empty, so that the app doesn't store the password and asks for it each time it is opened, and to be able to open and unlock the app with the same method(s) set up for the device (PIN, fingerprint, face recognition, pattern...)
  • To be able to encrypt a note, so that when you want to open it a note-specific PIN or biometrics are requested. This way, on the server of the e-mail provider the notes - intended as e-mail messages - are encrypted and not readable: if you open one of it on the webmail or on your e-mail client, their text is unreadable (you know, when you try to open an encrypted file with a text editor: you see only a strange mess of symbols). You can decide wether to automatically encrypt all the notes by default or to choose for every note if to leave it unencrypted or to encrypt it
  • To be able to see and edit also the HTML of the note (switching HTML/Rich-Text)
  • Given that the notes are saved remotely as e-mail messages, it would be beautiful to be able to set a title for each note: on the server, this would be interpreted as the subject of the e-mail and possibly, if desider, leaved unencrypted, so that when you manage the ImapNotes folder on your webmail, you are conscious of the (encrypted) content of every single note
  • To be able to synchronize the notes simply swiping down the screen
  • Touching the floppy disk icon now saves the note and closes it. It would be beautiful if "Save" only saved the note, while in order to close the note there was a dedicated "Close" button (in addition to the backward arrow of the device)
  • To be able to setup an "Auto Save" function: while you are editing a note, it is automatically saved every x minutes.

🙂

This will be my favourite and definitive notetaking app!
