JS breaks (probably) on some Firefox instances

Books load to the title and remains static. Cannot reproduce yet, possibly:

• a problem with service worker loading data on the background?
• a problem with JS in general?
• a problem with CSS? (title image is abs. positioned to cover whole viewport, perhaps something gets lost?)
