seek bars not showing thumbs on multiple devices running android L

The seek bar works fine, except that the thumb is not showing. It is e.g. possible to change it's value, but one can not see where the thumb currently is.

I guess you are running Android 4.1. It seems like overriding drawables doesn't work on this version. For this reason, the new strategy is to use the Material based themes on versions 4.0 and above.

You can have a look at the 'dev' branch. Please let me know how it works.
