Describe the Bug
Hi @mischa85 I hope you are doing well!
Thank you in advance for all your effort on this project. Over the last couple months I installed two different versions of this project on both an old Macbook Pro as well as more recently an M4 Mac Mini. I use the driver regularly for DJing with Traktor and my Xone 4D but have been keen to use it more regularly lately as a primary output interface and develop an Ableton Live workflow with it.
I am contacting you now as I am experiencing one primary issue to goal... with the latest driver installed, I am only able to get a maximum Latency Buffer Size of 128 samples in Ableton Live 12. In practical terms, this makes playing back audio in Ableton with more intensive plugins activated effectively impossible. Additionally this causes popping artifact sounds when playing back certain projects.
I noticed the available buffer sizes range from program to program with Traktor providing up to 192 samples and Logic up to 1024 (which I believe may be the device's max).
I have cross referenced between the two versions of your driver I am running on my separate machines and the older version appears run a buffer size of up to 960 in Traktor. Logic Pro is the same irrespective of build version. I don't currently have Ableton installed on the older machine but can do so if the comparison data may be useful to you.
Any tips or suggestions on possible troubleshooting would be greatly appreciated. Upon knowing what you may need I am happy to provide more info or try a way to remedy this.
Thank you very much for your time and effort!
