Is there a way to resume/continue execution for all processes at once after hitting breakpoints and stopping?

Hi all,

I am looking for a button or a key shortcut which allows me to resume/continue execution for all processes at once after hitting breakpoints and stopping?

(I am debugging distributed PyTorch training)

Currently it seems that I have to keep clicking on the "continue" button or F5 for each process one by one (and sometimes even sub-processes).

I would hazard a guess that you're hitting this bug here:

Your version of debugpy is very out of date. I recommend upgrading.

What's the current latest version of debugpy?

Sorry I missed that it was 1.8.13, I thought it was using the debugger extension 2024.6.0. That would be out of date. Although that depends upon how you're launching the debugger.

If you're using VS code, it will use the debugpy that ships with the extension.
