Upload issue when not connected to wifi

I found that if tring to upload a new sketch and is not connecting to the wifi, it will start to upload and then abort. Probaly besaue the esp32 it interupting the USB port. (aka I typed in the wrong passowrd, and when I tried to upload the corrected one,
it just will not complete the upload)

Any way around this? I tried the double reset method but it still will not upload to 100%.

If its connected to the wifi, then it uploads ok.

I'm using the UNO R4 WIFI

** Tried them out today and they worked great, Only issue is the add credits via change button or web didn't seem to work.
But it does read vouchers.

I have not noticed any issues flashing my boards - I will see if I can reproduce the issue. What board are you using?

Add Credits is working on all of my machines - do you have the option enabled in the sketch or in the webui first?

I'm using the R4wifi, I spent 2hrs yesterday trying to find a work around for the upload.
Its easy to reproduce.
I just set the wrong password, upload, change is back and try to upload and it consistently will stop any where from 0 - 95% .
I have to change the password in my router back, connect then it will upload.
