What does this mod depend on in order to work?

I'm making a modified style of prosilver. Haven't touched to many templates as of yet and only used some amount of jquery scripts.

Tried disablign them all and see if it works but it doesn't.

It does work on default unedited prosilver.

But what does the mod depend on to work? I've got some stuff going on in the textarea that is not default phpbb behavior. EG a jquery character counter and such.

I got no errors in my console or anything to debug.

Once the pageload is finished, the MOD checks if the required quickedit setting div exists and quickedit is enabled. Once this is confirmed, the quickedit jQuery code adds a click event to the edit icons which will cause quickedit to be triggered.

Well for some reason it doesn't work on my edited theme.

I've tried resetting the overall_header and overall_footer to vanilla code but no effect.

What templates if edited might cause this plugin not to work? I know this is a vague question but I don't know were to look for to fix this.

Does your style inherit from prosilver? If it does not, make sure you copy the files inside this extension's folder from styles/prosilver to styles/Rainbow

It does not inherit from prosilver. But I guess I could fix that and as a result make your mod work, correct?

Or could do the method you mentioned.

I tried both methods, eg inherit_from = prosilver and copy the files you said to the rainbow folder but no results...

The link to quickedit.js seems to be commented out in your style. Or did you add that manually?

oh that was a jquery quickedit plugin I tried out but didn't work. Removed it and all traces but that has no effect to make your plugin work.

Though I don't see your files in the were the other extensions there css files are present or in the footer were the js files are present of extensions..

Also, please make sure you copy the content from ext/marc/quickedit/styles/prosilver to ext/marc/quickedit/styles/Rainbow

Done, no luck though. Also renamed the rainbow folder to rainbow without the capital R in both the style version and the one under your mod to make things easier.

In the style.CFG its still Rainbow though but I don't think this has an impact?

Now it doesn't seem to work for the other styles as well. Forgot a few minutes ago to turn the extension back on after clearing cache and what not but now I can really confirm it doesn't work anymore on the prosilver style or rainbow basic style.
