IndexOutOfBounds Exception

An bug is caused with the if statement on Line 21, causing an IndexOutOfBounds Exception on Line 26 because the close parentheses is not in the substring and the value is -1.

if your purpose of the if statement is to ignore that link, then you should have a "continue" after the if statement to just move to the next iteration.
Otherwise, if you want to remove/ignore the space, you should add a field that keeps track of the space location and then you should call substring(0, spaceLocation) and substring(spaceLocation, length()-1);
If you have a link with more than one space, you should iterate through the link to determine the number of spaces and then call substring accordingly
