Perhaps I just don't know how to configure it, but I would like to keep the display off but still have the device running and updating as usual. It is located in the back of my printer and I use webscraping to bring the data into Home Assistant; so I don't need the display to be on.

Thanks for reaching out — there isn’t a settings toggle for this yet, but you can keep the device measuring and uploading to EZData while leaving the e-ink display off. You’ll need a small firmware change and then re-flash the device.

What to change in AirQUserDemo.ino:

1. setup() — skip display initialization (around lines 240–245)

Comment out screen setup, and optionally put the panel to sleep immediately:

Comment out display-related updates so WiFi/nickname changes don’t refresh the screen:

PS. Button shortcuts to Settings / EZData QR screens won’t show anything with the display off, but normal scheduled operation is unaffected.
