We have a user request for this software on our cluster. I am following the instructions https://github.com/LLNL/COGENT/tree/master?tab=readme-ov-file#install-instructions specifically starting from the NERSC template.
In Make.defs.local I set:
CXX=gcc
FC=gfortran (also tried mpif90)
MPICXX=mpicxx
I was able to build hypre in step 3, but not COGENT in step 4 as it fills up our entire /tmp disk space (>180G). Is this the expected behavior and, if so, how much space should we allocate for /tmp?
