Dim background when searching

Hey! I really love the extension! I was almost ready to program something like this myself, but then I found your's.

I wonder if it would be possible to dim background when user is searching for something on website.

So when user performs search, everything on page is dimmed so that search results are more visible.

I noticed Safari does that and it makes me furious how Firefox handles that.

But I have to disappoint you a bit. I have actually no idea how to implement your request.

I only see two options:
Option 1: I can add an extra div with a low opacity behind the green Ring. This should work but... in that case also the searched text is will be dimed.
Option 2: I select ALL elements on page except ring and the searched text and dim it :D Not very efficient and may break some pages, lol

So ... I really have no idea how I can implement your request in a good way.
