The example image was edited to illustrate the issue. The bug has actually never occurred on Wikipedia — at least not for me.
On some pages, and under still unknown conditions, FineFind starts unintentionally when you select some text and spams its green indicator (as shown in the picture). After releasing the mouse button, everything works fine again, and text selection behaves as expected.
This makes debugging very difficult. So I need your help!
Please let me know on which page and under what conditions this bug occurs for you. Also, tell me what you clicked before selecting the text.
For example: Did you do something in Notepad first and then click back into your browser before selecting the text? Or were you just browsing the web and suddenly FineFind loaded?
