Difference between number of reads from minimap2 and ram

Hi, we are using the filter branch and we got very different numbers from minimap2 and ram (for one sample minimap gives 11000 reads but with ram we get 5000). We would like to know the differences between the 2 algorithms.

Hello Johnathan,
sorry for my late reply! This branch was a helper for development used to get sequences in FASTA format which map with at least -F <percentage> of their length to any target sequence. Not sure whether minimap2 has that kind of functionality.
