No internet connection at startup and impossible to use the app

When I try to lunch the app it prompts me with this error. Of course my internet works fine. Every other app works fine. I checked for firewall exceptions but nothing... This is the only app that has this issue.
I'm using Linux mint. I downloaded Koncentro from both flatpak and github but the error is always there.
Any idea what is causing the problem?

Solved: Apparently Koncentro doesn't like connections from certain countries. I solved it using a VPN from japan to set it up the first time.

This is weird, I didn't know that the Mullvad dns service will block a country

This is the line which uses Mullvad's dns's ip address. Can you access Mullvad's website?

Note that Koncentro only uses Mullvad dns service's ip address for checking if the device is online and doesn't use Mullvad's vpn service. I used Mullvad dns's ip address since it felt more privacy friendly than pinging Google or Cloudflare

Yes I can...
Maybe the problem is not even the country but certain ISP in that country (Vietnam in my case) that get blocked or require additional verification to complete the request successfully, which is possible using a browser but not by just pinging the server. I'm just guessing...
Still... VPN is what solved it for me

Yes ISPs are known to block certain websites. I can get around this by pinging Github's servers instead of Mullvad's DNS servers as you can access Github
