Great app!
Have you thought about adding a visualization of the event activity? Some kind of chart could be extremely useful for getting an overall idea of how many events of each type there are and easily adjust the date range of displayed events, especially if it can be located just above the list of events. The X axis could represent the duration of time in the current list view of events, and the Y axis could represent the number of events. An area chart might work to show the number of each type of event, but critical errors would probably do better as red dots or fire icons or something. Clicking on a moment in the chart could trigger the event list to scroll to it, but that might be too imprecise to be useful so maybe it could zoom with the scroll wheel or let you click and drag to select a new date/time range.
