Description

Bug reproducibility

  1. Configure Velocity server to point to a Pterodactyl server identifier rather than ip address
  2. Simply enable the maintenance plugin (maintenance mode off)
  3. Join the server as a normal user
  4. Exception is thrown in console, user gets the following message "Unable to connect you to cobblemon. Please try again later."

Exception

  1. Configure user to have bypass permission (tested with * permission via Luckperms)
  2. Join the server as a permitted user (maintenance.bypass)
  3. User joins correctly

Server information

Running on velocity

Notes

  • With plugin disabled everything works fine.
  • I am not entirely sure whether this is a plugin related issue or an overall Velocity login event hook issue.
    • Because the plugin does not appear in stacktrace
