Hello,
I am trying to connect the GOTEK SFAKC30.AT4.35 FlashFloppy to an ATARI 520ST+, which has not any internal drive.
Connection:
- external Floppy DIN connector with adapter (Atary ST STFM STE Complete Set from ebay) and 34pin cable to Gotek
- USB power supply
- FAT32 USB stick
Cinfiguration:
- Firmware 3.42 (I had to do a reset to default values by pressing buttons mor than 3 sec, because display was upside down and also other strange issues)
- only Jumper S0, no other
- IMG.CFG
- FF.CFG
interface = shugart
host = atarist
nav-mode = native
pin34 = rdy
- Folder i.e. "Tools" with *.ST images
Status:
images are displayed on the OLED from Gotek
I can change between the images, so they are known by Gotek, and selectable
BUT:
Double Click omn "A", the Atari A Floppy Icon still shows 0 files, 0 bytes and is empty, because what I have found out the Ready Signal from Pin 34 is missing. On the 520ST+ this signal is not easy directly available and the line in the FF.CFG "pin34=rdy" does not help.
Is there any other possibility to send the Atari/Gotek, that the "Floppy" is reday? The Jumper JA on the GOTEK also did not help, since in this version it is for Updateing the Firmware or so.
