Bluestacks Android 7 rooted: Black Screen

Hey guys, i am trying to set the private server on my PC, and play via Bluestacks. I've rooted it, fired up the server, changed DNS to my IP, went to the site, installed the cert using a cert installer (cert installation seems to be broken in Bluestacks), rebooted the emulator just to be sure, and i am greeted with a black screen, both the official apk and the one that is created on the server's directory.

I wonder if this isn't a Bluestacks issue? I've seen a lot of people run into issues with it, and a lot of times the answers you see online are of the form "yeah Bluestacks is just meant for chill gaming". Have you been successful with other emulators or devices? The thing is, black screen almost 100% means cert issue in my experience...

actually I forgot already but
uh what I did was add the cert thing with some cert manage app and make sure name is right something like that

Sorry for the late reply, but the certificate can only be manually installed on earlier versions of Bluestacks, or at least if it is somehow installed on a newer version, it won't be trusted. For an emulator, I created a Bluestacks 5 instance on Nox. I used "DNS Changer" to set the DNS to what the server said, and "Root Certificate Manager" to install the certificate. When dragging and dropping the certificate into the Nox window, it saved to the Pictures folder, so I had to go into Root Certificate Manager and manually locate it with the folder option to install it. If things still aren't working, try deleting the certificate on your PC, rerunning setupServer.bat, and installing the new certificate on the receiving device.
