Getting started

Hey guys some quick noob questions.

1. Running on Ubuntu 22.04. If I Have it installed and run the vncserver command once, do I need to again after say a reboot? Does it run as a service in the background after that initial configuration?
2. When I connect from the browser (FF 124.0.2 running on another Ubuntu 22.04), I just get a black screen. Fiddled a little with client side settings, but no change. Any ideas?
