Voice recording deletes clipboard contents

Since the app keeps a backup of all transcriptions, copying to the clipboard is frustrating and often disrupts the user flow. (Say one wants to share a link in a message. Users have to remember to drop the link and reset their cursor before starting dictation.) This would be an easy "feature" to turn off.

Thanks for reporting this. I agree that dictation should not wipe out whatever you already had on the clipboard.

I have a fix queued so auto-paste now uses the clipboard only temporarily. SpeakType saves the previous pasteboard contents, pastes the transcript, then restores the prior clipboard as long as the user has not copied something else in the meantime.

I will keep this open until the fix ships in a release.
