Any way of sending custom events from backend on site view for analytics?

I want to use Grafana to enable some simple analytics. One key metric would be site.access with parameters such as

• Date / Time
• Site
• IP
• User-Agent

Is this possible in the backend? I would love to trigger some sort of http call to my Grafana platform from the backend, not in some JS inside the frontend.

So there's the option for access logs, I think without IP though. Maybe you could use that file for some custom processing? Or with a reverse proxy that is connected to Grafana. That's probably easier.
