Configurable directory in which to save markdown files

Would be great if writeily allowed us to choose an arbitrary directory on the SD card to save notes to by default. This also assumes the notes are written to file, rather than a database.

My goal would be to use this to manage the markdown files that I manage with Notational Velocity or nvALT on my laptop, which I would sync using a separate syncing app (like Dropbox or Seafile or whatever)

@patcon I'm working on this! Though it's a VERY sensitive change to the current app. I'll be moving from internal storage to external, and I don't want to compromise data in a future app update since some people rely on their notes heavily.

Instead, I'll be releasing this as a separate, and brand new app, with more functionality (moving to external will open up sync to Dropbox/Drive etc). The MVP app (one that saves to the SD) is basically ready, but I'm going to take a few more weeks to add some more functionality.

Awesome! Thanks man! I can help doing the legwork of bringing it to F-Droid for distribution if you're interested. I'm working on a privacy-focussed Android ROM that has Google apps stripped out, and I'd love to make this one of the recommended apps :)

Can you confirm that the other app is open source too?

@patcon At this moment, I'm not completely sure yet of how I will be releasing the app. I'll know once I'm closer to finishing the app - it's a lot more work than I thought, but it should be coming soon!

@patcon an update for you: I've decided to not charge for Writeily Pro, and so there's not much use in making a 'pro' version now. I've re-opened these issues as I merge the two apps together over the next little while.

@kud @patcon @arqex Writeily Pro is out on the Play Store now, and free :D. It saves to a "writeily" folder in the local filesystem. I could have made it save and edit ANY file on the filesystem, but I figured that it wouldn't be so safe for non-technical users (they might edit an important file in the filesystem :x or save to an Android-OS directory D:).
