Problem statement
Hey there. I just found this program after a quick google search for a ShareX alternative that was snappier and wasn't as bloated, and stumbled upon this program.
I only had it for 5 minutes but I'm already liking it quite a lot.
The only thing I notice that it's missing for my personal use is the ability to add the foreground process' name to the filename of the screenshots it creates, as well as the miliseconds.
With ShareX, I use the following pattern for exported pictures: %pn_%y%mo%d_%h%mi%s%ms, which generates filenames such as [program's name]_20260611_195054627.png.
Meanwhile, it seems that the filenames of OddSnap's pictures can only like this at best: 20260611_212731.jpg.
So, if I were to take a batch of pictures and then throw them into a personal folder, the sorting within Windows Explorer would be quite messy.
I could do manual renaming, but I know it would be a pita compared to just continuing to use ShareX.
Feel free to shut down this request. I understand these improvements are super specific and can potentially end up mostly unused, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask if they could be considered.
Cheers!
Proposed change
Add buttons to append the foreground process' name as well as miliseconds.
Alternatives considered
ShareX. It's what I've been using for several years in fact.
