Small recent images browser on the side of the screen #44

Problem statement

I would like to have a small images browser / history panel on the right side of the screen.

Right now it is not very convenient to work with recent screenshots after capture. If I want to check previous images, open one of them, copy it, delete it, or find the file, I need to go through the main window or open the screenshots folder.

For me this is a common workflow: I take screenshots with hotkeys, then I need to quickly look through recent captures and maybe use one of them. Opening a folder for this feels too slow and a bit disconnected from the capture workflow.

Proposed change

Add a small images browser that can appear on the right side of the screen.

The idea is to have a compact panel with recent captures, something like a quick visual history. It should not feel like a full main window. More like a small workspace for recent images.

Useful things in this panel:

  • show recent screenshots as thumbnails;
  • open an image by clicking or double clicking it;
  • copy image to clipboard;
  • copy file path;
  • reveal file in folder;
  • delete image;
  • open image editor if available;
  • start new screenshot capture;
  • start selected area recording for video;
  • open screenshots folder;
  • open settings.

It would be useful if this panel could open after capture, or from the tray icon, or from a hotkey.
