Problem statement
It would be awesome if we could edit the image after the screenshot was taken just like we can in SnagIt. I don't really understand why this capability is limited during the screenshot at the moment.
Also, just like SnagIt, It would be great if we could customize the toolbar. Ie: Add a green and red rectangle button. It would be quite useful to write technical documentation.

Add capability to edit the screenshot after it was taken with the editor
Add an option to automatically open the image in the editor after the screenshot is taken
Saved image should be shown in a recent list of snapshots in the editor
Add support for customizing the toolbar icon

SnagIt but closed source software sucks.
