I created a compatible AHK version of this, so you can use this anywhere in the OS: Hidetext
How to use it:
Download and run HidetextClient.exe, then minimize the pop-up. Close it to stop.
Select text, then press Ctrl + E (encode), and input some secret text to hide within. The hidetext will be copied to your clipboard. Select hidetext, then press Ctrl + D (decrypt) to reveal the secret text.

Wow! This was a little side project I made when I was first learning JS, as you might notice from my use of var everywhere, which I am cringing at currently :/

I abandoned this since I had no use for it (I'm not doing anything shady, I swear), but thank you for giving ZeroSteg some attention! This is awesome.

=) I really liked your project (I love creative, useful things like this), but I thought that it was a little cumbersome to copy and paste everything every time.
I just added a little more credit, because it felt like I was just stealing your code:
Hidetext is based on and is compatible with jasonkimprojects/zerosteg. It is has a really good explanation on how the encoding works.

Oh, no problem! I'm still surprised to know that this little thing from almost 2 years ago was searchable, and I'm happy to see it get revived :)
