I think adding a dockerfile for the tests can help to run the tests in a simpler way without having to install all the dependencies locally, for that:

• In the dockerfile you can choose a base image and from there copy the test code into the image and run the dependency installation commands.
• You can also add a command to run the tests but that way the container will run the tests and will probably shut down at the end so I think stopping at the installations is cool as it allows you to run the container and run the tests inside it the way you prefer.
• If you want to access the container files you can also configure a volume.

Another improvement is if you have a dockerfile for the tests you can also add it in the project's compose and that way when the other containers start you will also have the test container available (and you can even run the tests).
