Is there an option to update the created appimage instead of rerunning the build ?

can archimagecli work with an applications that creates muliple binarys eg metasploit ?

I need more details for this.

Is /system a directory in the root of your system?

If yes, it can't be readed, because Archimage is an Arch Linux container into an AppImage, that uses bubblewrap to mount few common standard directories of the fie system. And /system is not one of them, so it cannot see it.

AppImage is a package and a filesystem itself. To update an AppImage there are two ways:

1. downolad or create the new one
2. use delta updates (via zsync or appimageupdatetool)

To be updatable via delta updates, it must be hosted somewhere (better if on github releases) near the .zsync file.

With zsync it is necessary to have both the AppImage and its .zsync file one near the other, with the same name, and run

zsync ./*AppImage.zsync

With appimageupdatetool instead it is enough to have only the AppImage (with builtin update info) and run

appimageupdatetool -O ./*AppImage

However, I can't do much for your bwrap issue if you need to read a non-standard directory like /system

Sure, you need to edit the script manually and:

1. add a $extra_bins variable with the names of the binaries.
2. add a custom footer for your AppRun with a case or if statement as you like.

yes /system is a folder in the root directory , I tried just running the created abliword-junest.sh in my root directory with out putting it into its own folder and then putting it into folder same error with bwrap

will this not work in a root account ?

Nope, Archimages (and JuNest) cannot work as root.

Or better, JuNest have chroot support, but it is something I have not implemented in Archimages.
