$user is not a valid Vesta user account

I am not able to run the command, it says admin is not a valid user account. admin is the account from where I get the log in the vesta account

I am running this command letsencrypt-vesta USERNAME DOMAIN

I had same issue. Updating Vesta resolved this.

I came across the same issue. It was solved for me after I added 'sudo' to the command:

sudo letsencrypt-vesta -a 60 USERNAME DOMAIN
