Mounting host folders in the VM is not natively supported and needs a terminal command involving virtiofs. Now automating this via launchagents/daemons seems not possible due to macOS virtualisation restrictions (or we haven't found a way yet). Will there be any update soon regarding native shared host folders in the VM? |

The VirtualBuddyGuest app will automatically run that command and it is supported in guests running macOS 15 or later. Make sure "Guest App" is enabled in the VM settings, then once the VM is booted and set up, double-click the "VirtualBuddyGuest" app in the disk image that's automatically mounted. It will install itself and automatically set itself up as a launch agent.
