Preliminary checklist for selecting factors:
1) Correct baseline prevalence and distribution
2) Modifiable factors only
3) Factors that must be relevant to the Cdn context; either they are used in Canada, has the possibility of use/application and this could impact AMR (e.g., FQ in broiler chicken)
4) Factors: updating both the OR and the frequency of occurrence (distribution around the frequency of occurrence).
5) Factors at the correct node
6) Addressing factors where site of AMR measurement differs from the site of factor application (e.g., organic production measured at retail)
7) Non-selective versus selective media
8) Findings based on phenotypic data versus genomic data; quantitative AMR
9) Correct bacterial recovery at retail
10) Correct consumption from food book.
Items in italics are handled by the Hub module, using:
- CIPARS placement data for EC/SAL in chicksns
- Some Campy from Angie
- All by sub-type (e.g. by Campy species, by Salmonella serovar.
