Walkthrough

STANDARD_TERMS.md updated with three targeted clarifications: (1) explicit non-negative payout formula for Retainer bug-hour deductions, (2) clearer 14-day dispute window and loss-of-recourse language in Finality of Payment, and (3) shift from email-notice to release-tag-triggered term updates with compressed 3-day acceptance windows and immediate termination rights.

Payment & Notice Procedures

Layer / File(s) Summary
Retainer Payout Formula
STANDARD_TERMS.md
Quality Adjustment clause adds explicit non-negative formula: Retainer payout = (total approved hours − bug-attributed hours), capped at zero.
Finality of Payment Dispute Window
STANDARD_TERMS.md
Clause 10 restructured: 14-day written-dispute window after payment, followed by automatic loss of further recourse post-window.
Release-Tag-Based Term Updates
STANDARD_TERMS.md
Update trigger moved from 14-day advance email to UTC-timestamped repository release tags with 3-day effective window; contractor monitoring obligation added; acceptance window and non-acceptance termination right both compressed to 3 days with immediate effect upon notice.
