Cannot install dependencies for MTR

On latest FW. 1.1.1.
ICS is working through USB
can install dependencies for all current other available modules.

installing dependencies for MTR fails.
No feedback from WEB interface other then notifications in notification bar
Notification is "Unable to install package. 1 May 2022 15:50:39 - Error - mtr"
would be nice to see which dependencies it is trying to install.
or an error message stating what error it is having.
or the location where error logs can be found.

The MTR module dependency installation fails silently because the mtr package has been removed from the default OpenWrt feeds for the Pineapple's architecture.

Manual installation fix:

ssh root@172.16.42.1

# Update package lists
opkg update

# Try installing mtr directly
opkg install mtr

# If that fails, try mtr-json variant
opkg install mtr-json 2>/dev/null || opkg install mtr-nojson 2>/dev/null

If the package isn't in the feeds at all:
You can cross-compile or grab a pre-built binary:

# Download a compatible mtr binary for MIPS (MK7 is mipsel)
cd /tmp
wget --no-check-certificate https://downloads.openwrt.org/releases/21.02.3/packages/mipsel_24kc/packages/mtr_0.94-1_mipsel_24kc.ipk
opkg install /tmp/mtr_0.94-1_mipsel_24kc.ipk

To see what dependencies are failing:
Check the module's module.info for the depends field, then try installing each one manually via opkg install <pkg>. The module manager doesn't surface individual opkg errors, which is why you only see the generic "Unable to install package" notification.
