Recruit through Community Partners

Hey @csiu and @lchong , we could coordinate and get some of our community partners to send out emails about hackseq and recruit for team leads / participants. Is that a good idea?

What would you like to be sent out (for those with a mailing list: Software Carpentry, GrasPods) or link shared (for those who only use Twitter: NCBI, VanBug)?

Also @ababaian just emailed me and suggested he could advertise in the Terry Fox Lab & CRC. Could you give him some text to send out?

Hey @csiu and @lchong , do you guys have an email that I could get sent out? And is the deadline of May 31st still in place?

Celia says that since the May 30 deadline is so soon, it may not be worth it to extend the invite to community partners yet. She wants to see who applies by the May 30 deadline, and then if we extend the deadline (which we likely will) we can include community partners etc.
