Edit profile - email update

Describe the bug

Changing the email address in my profile is tricky.

I signed up with twitter, registered under aycaaldatmaz@gmail.com
I change my email to aldatmaz@gmail.com and a confirmation email is sent to this address. If this address confirms, did I hand my account over to someone else?

Steps to reproduce the bug

1. Go to edit profile
2. Change email address
3. Don't confirm any email
4. refresh profile
5. the unconfirmed new email address is still there
