I keed. I always disliked the name range_finder, I just couldn't think of anything else at the time.

I think I prefer ray_cast over ray_trace or ray_tracer, although the difference is debatable. I feel like ray tracing implies some sort of optical, recursive, or rendering aspect to it, while ray casting is a more basic geometric probe.

Also to your point you poisted elsewhere of being unable to find it, that is a huge issue with the current site. I very much desire a search word tagging system to make finding scripts easier.
