Console works with RELEASE.2025-09-07T16-13-09Z

I think this is covered by the Github Workflow checks, at least I'll depend on that when Dependabot takes over.

If you're really keeping track of it, you may also add the tested console version.

Maybe there is no issue anymore if there is no latest Minio community anymore?

They dropped the Community Tab from there site and "as of October 10, 2025, the MinIO object store documentation was pulled from web hosting."

@georgmangold Would it be possible for you to build and host newer minio server versions? I tried to build but apparently it needs some extra steps.

Possible, but not really. I'm looking into it for myself, but it wouldn't be suitable for others to use as a drop-in replacement, as I wouldn't use their Dockerfile or the same base image. Instead, I would try to start from scratch and run it rootless as minimal as possible.

I'm already building the latest minio binary with the console embedded in CI testing like this:

What issues are you facing?

It seems the smart way is to not fork the full minio repo, but instead to have a separate repo just for the build and use GitHub Actions like this:

Of course, if everyone builds their own binaries and images, the console could also be replaced like I do in testing with something like this, if that's what you're after.

I was trying to build with docker build by cloning the full repo.
