Just curious about this project's status. Is it still under current development? Is it being used in production anywhere? Is this just an experiment?

Hello Steven, It is fully-functional and production-ready. We have been using it for about 2 years in combination with hMailServer. I’m running it on a Linux box and hMail is Windows-based. For spam blocking purposes, it should be used in parallel with all other free SBL’s that are preconfigured in hMail. According to my logs, it identifies additional percentage of spam senders that other SBL’s have not identified yet. On average, I’m getting about 0 to 3 junk emails in a day and this is without even using spamassasin. Not bad IMO. It also caches results of all DNS queries which helps reduce repeated requests to those external SBL’s and improve mail server performance. I also wrote additional component after this project. Basically, it collects junk mail from [configurable] mailboxes and folders and uses it to “train” itself. If you’re interested in using it, I can provide additional information and “how to”.
