extension hangs when opening certain sites through proxy with it

I know this sounds crazy, but I have no other explanation:

• when opening certain sites, for instance, aliexpress.ru. FoxyProxy hangs until being disabled and reenabled (sometimes I need to kill the whole extension process in FF task manager). This started presumably after the last update to 9.2.
• not only the aliexpress tab stops aloading, but also all the tabs stops loading.
• none of the extension reacts to interacting.

Usage details: I use FoxyProxy with TLS-enables squid proxy to bypass DPI.

I'm using the FoxyProxy extension for almost 10+ years now.

The actual proxying process hasn’t changed much in FoxyProxy 9 comparing to 8 or even 7.

• What is the OS and Firefox version?
• Is FoxyProxy set to "Proxy by Patterns" or single proxy?
• Have you tested it with single proxy (all through one)?
• Have you tested it with another proxy server?
  Some IPs can get blocked or there can be incompatibilities.
• Does FoxyProxy's log show anything that can point to a cause?
• Are there other extensions installed that handle net-requests?
  There can be conflicts.
• Are there other settings involved such as container proxy?

A common cause for browser hanging is a continuos loop. For example, when a server redirects a connection and then user has a redirect setup to redirect it back which creates a continuos loop.

Well... regression has grown to the point where FP randomly adds a 0-30 seconds timeout when opening just any site through the proxy, with proxy list of 8 proxies (exclusively switched between, not by patterns) and about ~50 entries in the exclusion list. Furthermore, when openingg certain sites with FP, like gmail.com, FF cannot fully load them, stucking infinitely.

In the same session, through the same proxy, but with FP disabled everything magically starts to work flawlessly.

I guess this is goodbye after ... I honestly dunnow, seems like from the very start... years of using it.

Try with a clean profile, without any extensions except FoxyProxy, with a standard proxy server, and see if the problem exists.

There is not enough information to pinpoint the issue.
