glibc-repo install failed

• Termux source: F-Droid
• Install path: A: native Termux

Steps to Reproduce

1. curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ferrumclaudepilgrim/claude-code-android/main/install.sh -o install.sh
2. bash install.sh

Expected Behavior

Claude should be installed

Actual Behavior

What actually happened.

Error Output

I am investigating it now. I am unable to replicate it on any of my devices on hand. I am about to be near my older phones with Android 8 - 10 respectfully and will test deeper.

I appreciate the heads up. I am fairly confident its a package-mirror issue. Are either or both of you longer term Termux users? I was able to freshly install it on all 4 of my test devices ranging from Android 8 all the way up to Android 17 Beta QPR 3.

Did either of you try to re-run and have any success?

To confirm could you paste the output of:

termux-info

The parts that will answer some questions are the subscribed repository (your mirror) and your Termux version. I say this with a caveat that I can't replicate just yet so I am making some assumptions here.

Solved, install latest version from Github instead of F-Droid version, in my case im using:
https://github.com/termux/termux-app/releases/download/v0.119.0-beta.3/termux-app_v0.119.0-beta.3+apt-android-7-github-debug_arm64-v8a.apk

I even back tested just now to termux 1.118.0 and it successfully pulled the glibc package so I am feeling like there is a variable missing still but all my tests even the back test are on fresh installs.

Im also glad that this claude code client can use other api-key, im testing deepseek api key into this claude code on android, and it just works. oh and i also do claude doctor and it says i need to reconfigure it by claude install and then all good.

Thanks, it works now. The steps I followed:

• Installed the latest version of Termux.
• Re-ran path A: Native Termux.
