claude expect the <ctrl+c><ctrl+c> to exit from Claude code, so yhe executable should handle it using shell trap built-in function

Can you elaborate on what you mean by that? <ctrl+c> isn't required to exit from Claude Code, you use the /exit command when inside the CLI in Termux.

If needed ctrl+c is built into Termux in a few places. If you look at the image below you see them.

ctrl+c is naturally finicky, all those keys are I feel. I don't use them often personally but you can rebind keys, write a script for it to run, or have fun trying to quickly tap your ctrl+c like fast alternating (that is what works for me).

this genius way that you create to launch claude binary in Termux using glibc are awesome, but the Claude doesn't an binary, it's just a shell script that invoque the executable, but when the user send a signal to Claude code, like double <ctrl+c>, the sell script doesn't send the double signal into binary, it's send just one signal, so we can not exit from claude using signals, we need to use /exit.

hmmm I just did it on my device. I was inside an active claude session (a test one) and hit the CTRL that Termux produces when injecting text then tapped the letter c on my keyboard and it exited Claude just fine. I did

CTRL
C
CTRL
C

4 separate taps in quick succession and it worked jussed fine as it would via any other CLI, that I have used which is mostly Windows/ Termux and some Linux.

Edit for clarity: I am on my modern device (S26 Ultra SM-S948U).
I have however tested it across multiple Android APIs and Termux in general doesn't miss a beat in that department for me.

sorry, it's work but not work for me before, because it's has an ultra small timeout to press two time <ctrl+c> faster, it's should be do it quickly, so the problem maybe from Anthropic.

I circled back to this because I had a random thought.
Is /exit a problem point for you? I guess trying to understand the pain point.
I assume you are actively using Claude via Termux since you are here or some LLM.

You can edit ~/.termux/termux.properties and add an extra-keys row containing a macro key '{macro: "/ e x i t ENTER", display: "exit"} and use that to replace an existing on screen key or bind to one that is there now.
In testing I replaced PGDN with EXIT and it worked perfectly.
