Does it support mysql 5.7

Official documentation page says
MySQL-3.23 through 5.5 and Python-2.4 through 2.7 are currently supported.

I just upgraded from mysql 5.5. to mysql 5.7 and it seems to be working fine.

Does version 1.2.x support mysql 5.7? Are there any known issues?
If everything is good, can we add it to official documentation page?

This project is dead. Use mysqlclient. It supports MySQL 8.0.
