Issue Description
Hi, I’m encountering a peer discovery issue after upgrading my OP Stack node and would like to check if anyone has seen similar behavior.
Issue:
After upgrading, my node is able to connect to only 1–2 peers consistently, but it never scales beyond that.
The node is not completely disconnected, but peer count remains very low even after running for a long time.
Steps to Reproduce
upgrade to:
op-node: v1.16.8
op-geth: v1.101609.2
Network: OP mainnet
Which component is affected?
Expected vs. Actual Behavior
Expected Behavior:
The node should discover and maintain a healthy number of peers (e.g. 10+), with peer count increasing over time.
Actual Behavior:
The node only connects to 1–2 peers and does not increase further, even after running for a long time.
