With mbpoll 1.5-2 on Windows, I let
mbpoll -m rtu -b 115200 COM4 -c 20 -a 1,2,3,4
run for more than 18 hours and at the end, all I get was :
-- Polling slave 1... Ctrl-C to stop)
Read output (holding) register failed: Response not from requested slave
-- Polling slave 2... Ctrl-C to stop)
Read output (holding) register failed: Response not from requested slave
-- Polling slave 3... Ctrl-C to stop)

-- Polling slave 4... Ctrl-C to stop)

The stats are :
66525 frames transmitted, 44203 received, 22322 errors, 33.6% frame loss
I checked the communication from another computer and all the messages looked fine and well ordered.
Restarting mbpoll fixed the issue.
