First, THANK YOU for making possible what we have so far for the Yamaha V50 editor in Edisyn!!!
The V50's internal (user) bank supports up to 100 Performances (combos / splits / layers / multichannel/multi-voice programs, etc.) plus 100 individual voices/patches.
As my V50’s physical panel buttons are mostly shot, manually editing banks is practically impossible for this 35+ year old workhorse.
Presently, Edisyn’s Multimode Patch Editor only supports up to 24 Performances (TX81z’s limit?). I need to organize nearly 40 performances.
To their credit, Yamaha included a lot of sysex info in the V50’s manual (pg 127 ff).
Further, I cannot find any other librarians that allow bank editing for the Mac and V50 (or other similar 4-op Yamaha synths). Edisyn’s drag-and-drop UI is simple but perfect for this!
That’s why I need Edisyn to close the gap if possible. Is it crazy to ask for help with this?
