2.4.3 With 'Check automatically' checked in settings, no QRZ.com lookup is done for QSO edits or UDP logging

Only for manually entered QSOs does a QRZ.com lookup to fill missing data take place.

It does not happen when a QSO with missing data is edited.

It does not happen when a QSO is logged from another application over UDP (e.g.FreeDV WSJT-X etc.)

The only way to grab the data is to edit the QSO and use tools -> QRZ.com tools... -> Check the current callsign in QRZ.com. Then the data is entered in the entry boxes and can be saved.

This is despite having "Tools -> QRZ.com tools... -> Check always the current callsign in QRZ.com" already checked.

This is a very old regression as it did once work fine for edits!

The problem os filling from QRZ.com (automatically) when editing a QSO is that it may overwrite user entered valid information.

That has always been avoided from the very first implementation of QRZ lookup. It was decided that if data fields were already filled then they would not be overwritten. If data was available for fields currently blank then they would be filled from QRZ.
