Since a few updates ago, whenever the epub is converted into a pdf, and the pdf is searched (ctrl+f), it lags the computer terribly. Like, sometimes it lags for minutes at a time, with the computer becomeing completely unresponsive for the duration of the lag, with not even ctrl+alt+delete helping. Even scrolling up/down too fast produces a slight lag.
It didn't use to do that, and it only happens with pdfs I've converted from epubs the extention created over the last week or so.
It happens no matter what browser I use, as well as when I open it through a desktop app. I even tried it on another computer, and it still happens.
The lag's length is consistent with each individual original epub, but it does vary. The variance doesn't seem to be based on the number of pages, nor on how many results the search has yielded - anything more than a single result produces the lag.
Now, I know that most people just read them as epubs without converting, but there are some of us who do convert them for convenience, so try to be considerate.
