Support label output if content is selected

When I select content I am prompted to save the Node edit page to affect changes. But, the ctools_field does not show a preview or anything that a value is set.

Can we set something, like the Title of the content item into the form field if a value is set for the field?

The module is more or less deprecated, we added a preview easily with https://github.com/drupal-fancy/inline_entity_form_preview since we were using inline_entity_form
