modal w/form & input fields shifts out of view when keyboard opens [iPhone-only]

Users can't see any of the form while the keyboard is open. Closing the keyboard brings everything back into view, but leaves users unable to complete and submit forms.

Same behaviour, both iPhone and iPad, Chrome and Safari.
It seems to be related to the position: fixed of modal--show

I'm trying to find a workaround, if you have one don't hesitate to share !
